With the sole objective of catering education and training to a vast number of intending trainees in and around our locality we come forward to establish the prestigious institution i.e. Nilufar – Rumana D. Ed. College at Vill: Dakshin Goribpur, P.O.: Goribpur, P.S.: Domkal, Dist: Murshidabad, State: West Bengal, PIN: 742121 under the umbrella of a non Govt. social welfare organization i.e. Chandpur Rural Educational & Welfare Society. In fact there is no D.Ed. College within the radius of 40 k.m. Ours is a area abounding in vast number of intending youths / trainees. This institute is situated at the border of two districts namely Murshidabad & Nadia. So this College will mitigate the demand of the intending and unprivileged trainees of the vast area of mainly Domkal Block, Karimpur Block, Nowda Block, Berhampur, Nakashipara Block, Tehatta Block, Islampur Block etc. In fact, to keep up the tradition of Bengal’s love and respect of education and being inspired by Swami Vivekananda, Vidya Sagar, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Thakur Ram Krishna and R. N. Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Bankim Chandra, Sharat Chandra Chottapadhyaya we intended to setup an outstanding educational Training Institute like Nilufar – Rumana D.Ed. College furnished & equipped with airy, lighty and spacious infrastructure, adequate instructional facilities, sufficient number of library books, required number of furniture and teaching learning materials along with all other facilities like waterline, sanitation, electrification and after all qualitative teaching staff and skilled Teaching Support Staff & Administrative Staff etc.
